Digital Millennium Copyright Act Policy

2. Identification of the copyrighted work that has been infringed;
3. Identification of the material to be removed and details to locate it;
4. Contact information of the complaining party;
5. A statement of good faith belief that the use of material is unauthorized;
6. A statement that the information is accurate and the party is authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.

Section 17 USC §512(f) includes penalties for misrepresentations in infringement notifications under §512(c)(3).

Counter Notification – Restoration of Material

If you have received a takedown notice due to copyright infringement, you can provide a counter notification to restore the material. The notification must include:

1. Your signature;
2. Description of the removed material and its original location;
3. A statement acknowledging good faith belief of mistaken removal;
4. Your contact information and consent to jurisdiction for legal purposes.

Repeat Infringer Policy

We treat copyright infringement seriously and comply with the DMCA’s repeat infringer policy by identifying and terminating accounts of repeat offenders.
